I have lived in the north Tabor neighborhood since 2012 and my favorite outcome from opening a practice near my home is becoming a part of this community and meeting so many amazing neighbors who support my small business.

For the first 10 years of my optometry career I worked in Woodburn. I really enjoyed working in the community where I lived for half of my childhood, but the opportunity to start my own practice came about in 2019. After a small delay due to the pandemic, I opened Tabor Vision in July of 2020.

I was born in Romania, and emigrated here with my parents when I was almost 9 years old. I speak fluent Russian and Romanian. After graduating from Woodburn High School, I then went on to obtain my undergraduate degree from Portland State University. I received my Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in 2011. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Shane, who is an employment attorney, and my two kids.
